New leadership keeping Noske Rail on track
Rail industry leader Noske Rail, part of the Australian-owned KYR Group, has announced a change in its executive team.
Managing Director Martin Mallon has departed the organisation, confident that with the company in a strong position, the time is now right for him to move on.
Garry Webb, an experienced KYR Group executive and General Manager of Coachair, will now be responsible for both the rail and bus businesses. His new title is General Manager, Bus and Rail.
Martin has been an integral part of the Noske Rail team for many years, occupying several senior operational and engineering roles, including Managing Director since 2016.
During his tenure, he oversaw numerous successes, such as securing the VLocity account, which positioned Noske Rail as a recognised leader in the rail industry.
Looking to the future, the team is determined to build on the legacy of product excellence and business growth from recent years.
“With double-digit growth year after year, our order book is currently the largest it’s been in recent history. I’m excited to work with the dedicated Noske Rail team to deliver even more value to our customers,” said Garry.
“We’re experiencing a period of growth with many exciting projects across our client base, including new Kiwi Rail locomotives and a new order of VLocity trains.
Committed to a customer-centric approach, Garry will engage with all key stakeholders in early 2024 as Noske Rail focuses on delivering their commitments.
“For over 20 years, Noske Rail has provided successful HVAC and refrigeration solutions for the rail industry. It’s a history we’re proud of, and we’re excited to strengthen our position within the industry in the months and years ahead,” said Garry.
Noske Rail is part of the KYR Group which owns and operates a number of companies in the mass transit, industrial and engineering markets. Its brands have long and proud heritages, along with leading products provided in partnership with major offshore OEM’s.
